cedar-dog-houseThe venerable cedar tree is often celebrated for its scented wood. In fact, the Lebanese flag bears the image of a green cedar tree because of the wood’s purported use in King Solomon’s temple. Ages of tradition have made cedar one of the most popular building materials, and its resistance to decay is world renowned.

The pleasant fragrance inherent to cedar trees makes it a sensible building material for dog houses. Pet odor is a fact of life, but that doesn’t mean dog owners can’t counteract the stench with a fragrant cedar dog house. Time has taught us that cedar lasts even as it leaves a lasting impression in our nostrils.

A Place of Their Own

A Place of Their Own

Dog’s are man’s best friend.  Spoil them with a place of their own.  A comfortable quality dog house is very important.  Wooden Dog Houses are available in many sizes and styles.  Fascinating designs can be found.  Barns, Bungalows, stables and dog houses with porches.

Cedar wooden dog houses are a beautiful addtion to any backyard.  Cedar is naturally resistant to decay and insects.  Solid fir wooden dog houses are another excellent available selection.  They are naturally weather resistant.  Solid exterior 3/8 inch plywood that is unfinished and ready-to-paint allows you to add your own finishing touches and can be a fun family project.
